  • Festival Europeo "Teatro in Televisione", Pescara, Italy - 1991 - Second Prize for the film "Jump with the Window Closed";

    The International Relations Department of Bulgarian National Television has commissioned Petko Radilov to direct the following TV productions:
    For RAI TV, Italy - "Goodbye, Cortina" - 120 min. TV film;
    For Czech TV and Dubai TV - 30-episode series - 'The Colour of Music".
    Petko Radilov was the first director who experimented with taking the genre TV Theater outside the confines of BNT studios and working in close partnership with some of the most famous scriptwriters, he has created the first TV feature films in Bulgaria:
  • "Jump With The Window Closed" - written by Ilia Grozdanov - 2nd Prize at the Festival Europeo "Teatro in Televisione", Pescara, Italy - 1991;
  • "Last Stop" - written by Hristo Boychev - winner of "Harold Pinter" Award - 1992;
  • "Prerie" - written by Vassil Aprilov - 1993

As a director Petko Radilov has made numerous original TV works - he is the author of the series "Ambassadors of Bulgaria" (36 episodes) and the unique esthetic show "Hot Line", "Voices From Infinity" - a four-part production - "Breath", "Vocalisa", "Eternity", "United Worlds" (1994), The former President of the Republic, Prof. Zhelio Zhelev, has given this TV film as a gift to many official foreign delegations on numerous occasions including the former President of the United States – Bill Clinton; "Hidden Harmony" (1998); "All Is Love" - a TV feature film (1998).He is the director and a co-writer of the film "Faith, Hope, Love" which marked the official launch of the Satellite TV Channel "TV Bulgaria".

Major works - stage blockbusters:

2002 - Rock opera "Healing" dedicated to the official visit of Pope Joan Paul II in Bulgaria, acclaimed and realized under the aegis of the Vatican;
1997 - "Midsummer Night Dream" - a music show on water;
1988 - "Don Carlos" - a super production with a stage troupe of more than 300 actors;
1984 - "Cruise" - the highest prize for theatrical direction - The Golden Cube International Award of AITA;
1978 - "The Nest of the Loons" - a show which has turned into a political manifesto and led to the change of the oppressive management of City Theater in the town of Shumen;

Other TV works

2001/2002 - Production of TV sport programs: NBA weekly show - created a TV studio panel magazine accompanying the highlighted NBA match of the week promoting the American sports culture among Bulgarian youth;
2002 Winter Olympics TV coverage - created and directed 25 sport shows "Celebrate Humanity" - 90 minutes of Bulgaria, promoting the spirit of the Salt Lake City Olympics;
2002 World Football Championship - created and directed 32 90-minute sport shows entitled 'The World Is Football";

Other film projects

1999 - Ongoing project entitled "Sun Was Death" - 20-episode series as a co-writer in partnership with Vladimir Chernozemsky based on the real-life story of a Bulgarian actor who left the country in search of luck and professional success as a political "fugitive" - the film is being shot in France, Egypt, Bulgaria and Italy;
2002 – Present: Because of his extraordinary ability, receives Green Card and had moved to the United States of America.
